Abera Vietnam accompanies Tuoi Tre newspaper to support people in provinces affected by storm Yagi

After a series of fierce sweeps by typhoon Yagi, many northern localities were left with only ruins and devastation.

Faced with such a tragedy, the Abera Vietnam team decided to join Tuoi Tre newspaper, sharing some “warm sunshine” to help people in disaster-stricken areas have more motivation to overcome difficulties.

“Sharing love - towards the North”

Yagi (Storm No. 3) - the biggest and most unusual storm in the past 30 years has made landfall in Vietnam, destroying the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. In the northern provinces, especially Lao Cai, Quang Ninh, Yen Bai, more than 300 people were killed/missing, nearly 2,000 people were injured and more than 200,000 houses were swept away by storms, floods or landslides.

According to information from the Government, the total property damage caused by Storm No. 3 is preliminarily estimated at over 50,000 billion VND. Now that the storm has dissipated and natural disasters have gradually “receded”, all 26 localities in the Northern region and Thanh Hoa are making efforts to restore the original state.

On that recovery journey, many benefactors/philanthropists have supported our compatriots in the North. With the spirit of caring and sharing, Abera Vietnam is determined not to stand aside. The founding team has cooperated with Tuoi Tre newspaper, and at the same time launched an extremely practical fundraising program: for every order sold, the brand will donate 5,000 VND to the fund.

After only 2 short weeks, the fund quickly reached 300,000,000 VND. Although it is nothing compared to the loss that the people of the North have experienced, Abera Vietnam hopes that this fund will help people recover soon after Typhoon Yagi.
